Dear Families,
This is our first whole week of kindergarten--and today was awesome! We are settling into our routine quite nicely, and we will be working hard on that this week as this is our first "normal" week--except for the delayed start today.
A few things to keep in mind to help our day run smoothly:
-If you drop your child off in the morning, please remind them that they get to play outside until the whistle blows. Even if all the other kids are already lined up, they still need to be outside to get in line. It's not safe for them to be in the classroom by themselves.
-When you send in lunch money with your child, please, please make sure their name is on it and that it is labeled lunch money. This ensures that the money gets posted to the correct account.
-When you send in any money, notes, papers to be returned to school, etc., please, please send them in your child's folder. We are trying to get into the habit of taking our folders into the room, and putting any important information for Mrs. Rozeveld in her tray.
Thank you, again, for all of your love and support as we begin our Kindergarten year together! We've had a fabulous first few days, and I'm excited for the rest of the year!!
Thanks!
Mrs. Rozeveld

Gingerbread Day!
Happy Monday!
As many of you have already seen, we had Gingerbread Day on Friday. We had so much fun! Be sure to ask you child about the adventure we went on to find the gingerbread man, and where we ended up finding him. Also, today we made gingerbread man puppets and retold the story while acting it out--they would be more than excited to retell the story for you too, I'm sure!!
