Happy Spring!!  As we ease our way back in to the swing of things, after our extra long Spring Break, here are some things to mark on your calendars for the rest of the school year.

*Reading Month Finale (since we had a snowday) will be THIS Friday, April 11 in the afternoon.  We will be waching the movie Frozen and having popcorn.

*Report Cards will also be coming home THIS week Friday, April 11th.

*No School Friday, April 18 - Good Friday

*Delayed Start Monday, April 21 - Clasess begin at 10am.

*Mileage Club will begin again on Monday, April 21st.  If you are available to volunteer, please let school know.  The time is from 1:40-2:55 with a small break between recesses.

*4th Annual Fun To Be Fit event is Friday, May 23rd.

*No School Monday, May 26 - Memorial Day

*2-4 Field Day is Tuesday, June 10th.

Please also remember that Tuesdays and Fridays are our gym days.  Please be sure that your child has gym shoes with them to school on these days.  Also, as our weather is ever-changing during the beautiful Michigan springtime, please be sure that your child has adequate outside attire.  I do not require that they wear snowpants everyday, as there is very little snow left on the playground now, but we do still have mud.  It may be a good idea to send a spare pair of pants/shoes with them if they are not going to be wearing snowpants so that they don't have to sit in wet muddy clothes for the afternoon if they do happen upon a mud puddle of some sort. :)
